Literature & Writing Book Study Program

Build strong readers, thinkers, and writers through classic literature.

Step into the magical world of Willy Wonka and explore one of the most beloved children’s novels of all time! In this engaging literature and writing course, students will dive deeply into Charlie and the Chocolate Factory through guided discussions, close reading, vocabulary development, and analytical writing activities.

Throughout the program, students will strengthen reading comprehension while learning to analyze characters, setting, plot, themes, figurative language, and author’s purpose. Students will participate in guided conversations, complete close-reading responses, and practice expressing thoughtful ideas through writing.

This course encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful discussion while helping students build stronger academic reading and writing skills in a fun and interactive environment.
